If you guys have watched the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy (S5E21), you will find this song familiar! Yes, it's the scene where Robie bids goodbye to Izzie and Owen explains his behavior towards Yang. Grey's has the coolest soundtrack among all of the dramas that i've watched.
I have had a rush of mixed feelings after watching this episode of Grey's.

This particular scene caught my attention - Dr Callie was disappointed with the response her family members gave her when she told her dad that she is seeing someone of the same sex. " They're supposed to accept me. They're supposed to support me. They are supposed to love me, you know? "
I mean it's sad. It is an irony that when you need the support of your love ones the most, they aren't there for you. They were not there to boost your morale, help you through the darkest period of your time. More often than that, they are the one that disappoint you and put you down.

Perhaps this is life. Life will never be fair. Life will never be a fantasy. Life is a paradox. Life is full of surprises. Life is unpredictable.

It's only Autumn and the cold has taken a toll on me! How am i going to survive Winter?! Thankfully, i'm not studying in U.K or some countries with extreme weathers. Time passes really fast when you're busy with tutorials and revision.
And so AWARE EGM has ended today! The new EXCO of AWARE were given vote of no confidence. In my opinion, they have really put us, fellow Christians, in bad limelight! Oh well, it does not really bother me much anyway. haha. I'm in Adelaide now, so what i should be concerned with is my upcoming biology test on week 9 and maths test on week 10.

whoosh and i'm back in Adelaide again. The weather is freezing cold and to make matter worse, i'm down with a slight fever this afternoon. Should i continue my studies in Adelaide or SIM? It's time to head back to Adelaide. No matter how reluctant i am to head back to Adelaide, I just could not find any reason to stay in Singapore anymore. It's time to wake up and move on. After all this while, i was deluding myself. Pseudo-hoping that i would be able to salvage everything. Well, the world is changing, people "is' changing and feelings changes. What's new? We'll just have to get back up on our feet again.

Apparently, i had a slight chemical burn on my right hand which is getting from bad to worse.

Uhm, u can't really see the burnt marks clearly. If you were to scrutinize carefully, you would be able to see a huge dry, flaky and reddish patch around the last index finger. It's time to see a derm! wahahaha.

It's about time to update my "long-neglected" blog! but hey! who cares anyway.

Let's start all the whining and ranting that has been bottled within me for ages.

Well, school has started for almost a month now. I've shifted from the Village to UniLodge. Though UniLodge is so much nearer to the campus, i miss the peace and serenity at the Village! It is DEFINITELY not the clubs/pubs opposite UniLodge that is "distructing" the serenity of the environment. It's my best friend's girlfriend. On both seperate occaions, i was having my usual afternoon nap and i got woke up by her constant whining and screehing voice. I'm fine with girls that whine but over-doing it? It's way too irritating and annoying, especially when u're disturbing my afternoon nap. I NEED my afternoon naps.

It seems that 24hours per day is way too short! There are so many assignments, revision and pre-lecture reading to be done in such a limited amount of time! Well, i just have to convince myself that " i have all the time in the world."

On a brighter note, EASTER-BREAK / MID-SEMESTER BREAK is around the corner! This could only mean that, i'm flying back to SINGAPORE! I miss my food, my person and family. Yeah, i'll use this opportunity to enjoy myself and do some catching up on school work eh. I need a break from all the physical,mental and emotional stress. I know this may sounds abit silly, but yeah, i need a break from school work.

isn't it ironic that humans will never learn from their past mistakes? could it be the sense of anguish or the pain/distress that we enjoy in the process? can someone please enlighten me and snap me out of it? Few weeks back at arrow service, pastor touched on the topic on friends and it set me thinking. Have you ever wondered if your best friends were really your "best friends"? How do you define best friends?
I began to realise most of my best friends aren't actually my besties at all! i'm not complaining/whining/bitching abt them but where were they when i needed help the most? they will only start appearing when :
1) they are lonely/bored and their partners are unavailable for them
2) they need my help on certain issues
i can't really blame them though. it's humans' nature to behave in such a manner. i've been spending too much time with them that my vision/thinking has been clouded!
is it worth it? the answer is simply NO.

DDT = Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane it's an organochlorine insecticide and it can be found in some pesticides! in addtion if you smoke, you;re actually taking in DDT.it's hyrophobic (due do the -phenyl group present in the structure) just like sinyi. however it is soluble in most organic solvent. it can be formed via electrophilic subsitution - chloral (CCl3CHO) with chlorobenzene (C6H5Cl) in the presence of a sulfuric acid catalyst. there will be 2 different types of products formed (-ortho and -para). hahas. i'm so in love with Chemistry! ain't it interesting? as in our life just revolve around in the aspect of chemistry. For example: most people would not add water to the bowl of chocolate to liquify it, fearing tt it would affect the taste/flavour of the liquify chocolate. HOWEVER!!!! it's not true! its' BULLSHIT! go search for this documentary called Food Chemistry and it will explain the whole theory behind it.

My sis get what she wants with a snap of her fingers. But i've to slog my guts out and i still failed. All this while i've been trying to prove myself that i'm as capable as my sister. one more week and i'll be gone!
i'll be away for my BMT recourse which starts on the 15th OCT.
this means that i've to bid farewell to my super duber chio hair! *pout*

i need a break from everything. Too many things had occured recently and i need time to get over with it - A level results, ............. and etc. i do have a sad life. It's been bothering me for quite some time. I mean if problems that can be resolved easily, then it would not have posed much of an issue to me.

Life is all about making choices.

1. Would you spend $30K+++ to study something that doesn't interest you OR to spend $100k that interests you?
Pick one. It's difficult.
I'm so amazed by my parents' stupidity that they are willing to fork out thousands of dollars for my sister's education( my sister doesn't even attend school lah) They've been "donating" their money for 3 fucking years. Isn't it amazing? Seriously what's wrong with you guys? And when i asked if i could go melbourne to study, you said no. REASON? It's fucking obvious. You're just unwilling to fork out your money on my education because you need them for her education. PLEASE wake up! I had it.

2. While watching charmed last weekend, i was wondering wouldn't it be cool to have one of the sister's power? If you were given a choice, which power would you pick?
Of course i wanna have phoebe's power lah! the power of empathy! Isn't it cool to be able to perceive and feel directly the emotion of other people? This would definitely be useful especially if you're going on a date! ( you see....if you're interested in someone, having such ability allows you to know if your love would be reciprocal. Eventually we will be doing things that's absurd - leading to regrets,sadness or sorrow.

More often or less in life, there's something that we covet after and we call that Desire. It could be anything - love, money, sex and etc. Too often, the thing we want the most is the thing that we can't have. Desire leaves us heartbroken; it wears us out. Desire can wreck your life. Of course, there's miracles. Being worshippers at the alters of science i hate to believe miracles exist, but they do. Ironically.

We convince ourselves it's better that we never dream at all. But the strongest of us, the most determined of us, we hold on to the dream. Hoping that it would happen. Deep inside, all of us do know that it's impossible. And if we're lucky, we realize...In the face of everything, in the face of life...The true dream...Is being able to dream at all.
